..."Atlantic Coast Recording owner and engineer Ed Dennis put his band Guilt Trippers on hold indefinitely, and he left his fulltime gig with the Josh Brannon Band last summer. The veteran guitarist says he doesn't miss the rat race that is part of gigging along the Grand Strand. Instead he's thrown all of his time and energy into his studio, now in its tenth year. His projects have included a wide variety of local and regional acts, and some commercial work as well. A fan of organic sounds, Dennis mixes a minimal amount of digital recording media with old school analog equipment. "I don't have a computer, there's no mouse, no Pro Tools, no cut and paste," said Dennis. "We're looking for that real sound, warm tones." He's recorded a wide variety of country and rock projects including a series of ongoing recordings for indie country music songwriter Walt Hoagland, and newcomer Will Jackson, a young keyboard/vocal talent performing Ben Folds-styled original music.  ....... Atlantic Coast Recording is a budget studio producing high-quality recordings."
